NodiTalk to us

Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Nodi when you use hellonodi.com or the Nodi app. Using either one means you accept them.

The short version

  • Nodi is guided self-care. It is not medical advice or treatment.
  • $59.99 a year with a 3-day free trial, or $8.99 a week with no trial. Both renew until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time before the next renewal and you are not charged again.
  • Bought on the web, you have 14 days to change your mind. Bought in the app, Apple handles refunds.
  • The guides are ours. Please do not copy or resell them.

The sections below are what actually counts, but nothing in them contradicts this list.

What Nodi is, and what it is not

Nodi gives you guided facial lymphatic drainage routines: short sequences of gentle massage for your face and neck, with a streak to keep you doing them. It is a wellness and self-care product.

Nodi is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or therapy, and it is not a substitute for care from a doctor or a qualified therapist. Nothing in the app or on this site is a promise about your health, and results vary from person to person.

If you have a medical concern, talk to a doctor. Please check with one before starting if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery, having treatment for cancer, have had lymph nodes removed, have an infection or an active skin condition on your face or neck, or you are unsure for any other reason. Stop if anything hurts.

Who can use Nodi

You need to be at least 16 to use hellonodi.com and to buy a subscription on the web. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to read these terms and agree to them with you.

You also need to be able to enter a contract where you live, and to give us accurate details when we ask for them.

Your saved plan and claim codes

There is no password to remember. When you finish the questionnaire we save your answers and give you a claim code that looks like SWAN-ABCD. Enter it in the app and your plan comes across, along with your purchase if you made one.

  • Treat the code like a key. Anyone holding it can claim that plan, so do not post it anywhere public.
  • Lost it? We can send it again by email, to the address you used.
  • A code is meant for one person and one plan. We can void a code we can see is being shared or resold.

Plans, prices and billing

Nodi Pro comes two ways: $59.99 a year, which includes a 3-day free trial, or $8.99 a week, which does not. Prices are shown in USD, and the total you pay is shown before you confirm, including any tax that applies where you live.

Both plans renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price you agreed, until you cancel. Where we can, we send a reminder before the first charge after a trial.

  • Bought on hellonodi.com: Stripe takes the payment and manages the subscription for us. Your download page has a billing link where you can change your card or cancel. Email us and we will send it again if you cannot find it.
  • Bought in the app: Apple bills you through your Apple Account, and Apple's media services terms apply to that purchase. Manage or cancel it in Settings on your iPhone, under your name, then Subscriptions.

If a payment fails we may retry it and pause your access until it goes through. If we ever change the price, we tell you first and the new price only applies from your next renewal, so you can cancel before it takes effect.

The free trial

The annual plan starts with 3 free days. Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged at all. Leave it running and the first year is charged when the trial finishes.

If you started the trial in the App Store, Apple needs the cancellation at least 24 hours before the trial ends. That rule and the rest of what an App Store purchase involves are in buying inside the iOS app.

One trial per person. We may decline a trial to someone who has already had one.

Buying inside the iOS app

Buy Nodi Pro inside the app on your iPhone and Apple takes the money, not us, so Apple's rules sit on top of everything above. Here is that purchase, spelled out.

  • What it is: Nodi Pro, an auto-renewing subscription. It comes as $59.99 per year, which includes the 3-day free trial, or $8.99 per week, which does not. Amounts are in USD. Your own App Store may price it in your currency, and Apple shows you the exact figure before you confirm.
  • Who charges you: your Apple Account is charged when you confirm the purchase, and Apple's media services terms cover that payment.
  • How it renews: the subscription renews for the same period at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple takes the renewal payment within the 24 hours before that period ends.
  • The 3-day trial: annual only. It becomes a paid year at $59.99 unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Move to the weekly plan while the trial is still running and the free days you had left do not carry over.
  • How to cancel: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and turn off auto-renew for Nodi. Whenever you like, and you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds: Apple holds the money, so Apple decides the refund. Ask through Apple's Report a Problem page or your App Store purchase history. We cannot issue one for you, though we will help you find the right page. None of this touches a subscription bought on hellonodi.com, which keeps the web rules above, including the 14 day right to change your mind.

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the iOS app as a minimum, alongside these terms. Where the two disagree about the license to the app itself, Apple's minimum terms win, and Apple can enforce them against you as a third party beneficiary. Apple does not run Nodi and is not responsible for the app, its content, or the help you need with it. That part is ours: hello@hellonodi.com.

Canceling

Cancel whenever you like, without giving a reason. Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not delete your streak the moment you leave.

Web subscriptions cancel from the billing link on your download page, or by emailing hello@hellonodi.com. App subscriptions cancel through Apple, because Apple is the one billing you.

Changing your mind: the 14 day right

If you are a consumer in the EU and you buy on hellonodi.com, you have 14 days from the day of purchase to withdraw from the contract. You do not have to explain why.

Because you get access straight away, you are asking us to start the service inside that 14 day window. If you then withdraw, we can keep a proportionate amount for the days you had access and refund the rest. In practice, if you have barely used it, tell us and we will sort it out fairly.

  • A free trial is never charged, so canceling during the trial leaves nothing to refund.
  • To withdraw, email hello@hellonodi.com with the address you bought with and your claim code. A clear statement is enough, there is no form to fill in.
  • Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with, in the same currency you were charged in, within 14 days of us hearing from you.
  • Purchases made inside the app are billed by Apple, so those refunds go through Apple's Report a Problem page. We cannot issue them for you, though we will help you get there.

Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law of your own country. Where these terms and that law disagree, that law wins.

Fair use

Nodi is for you, personally. So, please do not:

  • share your claim code or account so several people use one plan;
  • download, copy, re-upload, or resell the videos, guides, artwork or audio;
  • use Nodi to run a paid class or any other commercial service without asking us first;
  • scrape the site, hammer our APIs, reverse engineer the app, or try to get around the paywall.

If someone is clearly doing one of these, we can suspend or end their access. We will say why when we reasonably can, and you can always reply and put your side.

What belongs to whom

The routines, videos, illustrations, the swan, the name Nodi and the software all belong to us or to the people we license them from. While your subscription is active you have a personal license to use them for yourself, and that license ends when the subscription does.

Anything you type into Nodi stays yours. If you send us feedback or an idea, we can use it to make Nodi better without owing you anything for it.

The service will change

We add routines, adjust the app, and sometimes retire something that is not working. We aim to keep everything running, but we cannot promise the app or the site is available without interruption, and some of it depends on Apple, your device, and your connection.

If we take away something substantial that you paid for, you can cancel and we will refund the part of your period you have not used.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible when we let you down: if we fail to provide what you paid for, or cause you loss by not taking reasonable care, we owe you what the law says we owe you.

We never limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory consumer rights stand whatever else these terms say.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law permits: we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you signed up, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Because Nodi is not medical care, relying on it in place of a doctor is not something we can be responsible for.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Nodi at any time, and cancel as described above.

We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms in a serious way, if we are required to by law, or if we shut the service down. If we end it and you have paid for time you did not get, we refund that part, unless you lost access for a serious breach.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, that does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.

We would much rather fix it by email first. If we cannot agree, you can also take it to the consumer protection body or an approved alternative dispute resolution service in your own country.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top. If a change matters to you and we have your email, we tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel if you do not want to accept it.

Who provides Nodi, and how to reach us

Nodi is a sole proprietorship based in the Netherlands. That is who you are contracting with when you buy on hellonodi.com. Write to us for our full registered details and we will send them to you.

Questions about any of this, or about your subscription: hello@hellonodi.com. A person answers, usually within two business days.
