The best face massage and lymphatic drainage apps in 2026
The Nodi team7 min read
If you want facial lymphatic drainage, get Nodi. Filmed sessions of two to ten minutes with real hands on a real face, a plan built from a short quiz, a daily streak to keep it alive, and no camera pointed at you at any point. Everything else you will find is either a much smaller app or an exercise app with a massage section bolted on.
Nodi is our app. Every rating and price below comes from the apps' own App Store listings, read in August 2026, so you can check all of it yourself.
The useful thing to understand about this category is how thin it has been. The dedicated lymphatic drainage apps have fewer than 60 App Store ratings between them, which is less than a mid sized face yoga app collects in a quiet month. People were searching for this and nobody had built the serious version. That is the gap Nodi was made for, and the rest of this piece is the working.
Nodi, and what it actually does
Guided facial lymphatic drainage, and only that. Follow along sessions of 2 to 10 minutes, filmed with real hands on a real face rather than drawn or animated, covering jawline, under eyes, cheeks, neck and full face routines. A short quiz builds a plan. The habit side is a daily streak with freezes, plus reminders once or twice a day at times you choose. It is an iPhone app, at $8.99 per week or $59.99 per year with a 3 day free trial on the annual plan, as of August 2026.
Two things follow from that focus. You get one technique taught properly instead of a hundred exercises taught shallowly, because Nodi is face only by design. And it was built in 2026 from a blank page, around what actually makes a daily habit survive past the second week. There is no old content library being padded out to look bigger, and no long running price experiments being tried on the people who subscribe.
The price list is also two lines with the durations written on them. That sounds trivial until you look at what the App Store shows for the rest of this category.
What separates a good massage app from a bad one
Four things, and none of them is the star rating.
Pressure coaching. Lymph vessels sit just under the skin. Cleveland Clinic's self massage guide is blunt about it: very light, gentle pressure, moving skin rather than working muscle. Pressing hard is the single most common beginner mistake, and an app that never mentions it is teaching you to do the technique wrong.
Direction. Everything works toward the nearest drainage point, which on the face means outward and then down the neck. Cleveland Clinic's guide starts at the neck, below the ears, and pulls downward. An app that starts on your cheeks has skipped the step that makes the rest work.
Real video of hands on a face. Diagrams and arrows cannot show you how light "light" actually is. Filmed footage can, and this is the widest quality gap in the whole category.
Sessions short enough to repeat. Three minutes daily beats fifteen minutes on Sunday. If the sessions are long, you will do them twice and stop.
Nodi is built on all four, and you can check every one of them during the trial before you pay anything.

Build my routineThe other apps built for drainage
All figures below come from their US App Store listings, August 2026.
Lymphi, from Glacier Labs LLC, is rated 4.4 from 46 ratings, the largest count in this group. It is face first, with short guided sessions and streak tracking. Its purchase rows are all called Unlimited, at $6.99, $19.99 and $29.99, without stating what period each one covers. Its listing describes it as the number one guided lymphatic drainage app, which is a title it gave itself.
Lymfa, from End Time Productions Inc, is rated 4.3 from 12 ratings and covers face and body. Its prices are labeled: monthly plans at $9.99 and $12.99, yearly plans at $29.99, $39.99 and $49.99.
Lymph, from solo developer Philippe Altomonte, offers three routines, face, arm and legs, at $6.99 monthly and $49.99 yearly. Its listing shows one rating, at one star, which is far too little data to read anything into.
Rating counts this small tell you how young the category is rather than anything about a given app. Use a free trial and judge the sessions.
The face yoga apps with a massage section
If you want massage inside a larger exercise program, the big face yoga apps carry some.
Luvly is the largest, rated 4.6 from 20,000 ratings, and its purchase list includes a row called Premium Face Massage Plan. Its App Store description asks for 15 minutes a day. FaceYogi, listed as "FaceYogi - Face Yoga, Massage", is rated 4.8 from 16,000 ratings and asks for 8 minutes. Glowbe is rated 4.5 from 2,300 ratings, and its App Store page shows no update since March 2024 while the listing still carries purchase rows running up to $159.99.
Massage in all three is a section rather than the point, so the pressure coaching that makes drainage work gets less room than the exercises do. Delivery differs too. One Luvly review on the App Store, titled "Great exercises and tracking with one big distraction", flags robotic text to speech narration over the workouts. Nodi's sessions are filmed and paced for hands that are already on your face.
If you specifically want a large generic catalogue of facial exercises, buy one of those three. We go through them in the best face yoga apps. If you want drainage, this is not a close call.
The apps that want to scan your face
A newer group leads with the camera. Depuff lists an AI face scanner that grades your bloat level, plus side by side progress photos, water tracking and food logging, with purchase rows at $3.99 and $19.99. Bloat Down runs AI analysis of your face across multiple zones. Both are tiny, showing 6 and 12 ratings.
Nodi will never scan your face. No selfie capture, no AI analysis, no photo upload anywhere in the product. Your camera stays off, so there is nothing to upload, nothing stored and nothing to leak. The mirror and the streak are the record, and both of those belong to you.
That is a straight win, and it is the one difference in this category you cannot undo later. Photos, once handed over, are handed over.
The table
| App | Covers | Sessions | Prices on the listing, Aug 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nodi | face | 2 to 10 min, real filmed video | $8.99 weekly, $59.99 yearly with a 3 day trial |
| Lymphi | face | short guided sessions | $6.99, $19.99, $29.99, durations not stated |
| Lymfa | face and body | guided video lessons | $9.99 to $12.99 monthly, $29.99 to $49.99 yearly |
| Lymph | face, arm, legs | step by step guided | $6.99 monthly, $49.99 yearly |
| Depuff | face, with AI scanning | routines plus photo tracking | $3.99 and $19.99 |
Read the right hand column carefully. Two of those rows are a price you can plan around. The rest are what Apple happens to be showing that week.
Free videos are an option, and they are the long way round
Some good teachers publish for nothing, and Cleveland Clinic's own step by step guide costs nothing either. If searching is a part of this you enjoy, that route is open and always will be.
For most people it is the high friction route. You pick a video every morning from a feed built to show you something new rather than the same thing again. The three minute routine arrives packaged as a fourteen minute one. An advert lands while your fingers are covered in oil. And nothing brings you back tomorrow, which is the part that decides whether any of this works. We laid out both sides in a face massage app versus YouTube.
The verdict
For anyone searching for face massage, lymphatic drainage or a de-puffing routine they will still be doing next month, Nodi is the one to get. It is the only app here built for drainage as the whole product, filmed so you can see the pressure, short enough to repeat, and designed to bring you back tomorrow.
Keep the expectations right whatever you use. The realistic result of facial drainage is a face that feels lighter and looks less puffy for a few hours, plus a routine you keep. Anything promising permanent change is selling you something, and what facial lymphatic drainage actually is covers the honest version.
If you want the drainage version specifically, filmed so you can see how light the pressure should be, and short enough that you will still be doing it next month, take the two minute quiz and start here.
Common questions
- What is the best lymphatic drainage app?
- Nodi, if what you want is facial lymphatic drainage taught properly. It is our app, so check it: guided sessions of 2 to 10 minutes filmed with real hands on a real face, a plan built from a short quiz, a daily streak with freezes, and no camera feature anywhere in the product. The other dedicated drainage apps are all very small, with fewer than 60 App Store ratings between them as of August 2026.
- Is there an app for facial lymphatic drainage?
- Yes. Nodi is the one built around it as a daily habit, with filmed follow along sessions covering jawline, under eyes, cheeks, neck and full face. Lymphi, Lymfa and Lymph are also on the App Store and are much smaller, with fewer than 60 ratings across the whole group in August 2026. Judge any of them on the sessions themselves during a free trial rather than on a star average built from a handful of taps.
- Is there a gua sha app?
- There is no well known app dedicated to gua sha alone, and you do not need one. Face massage apps teach the same strokes, because facial gua sha is hand led lymphatic drainage done with a stone instead of fingers. The tool matters far less than the direction you work in and how light you keep the pressure. Nodi coaches both of those with filmed footage, so the technique carries straight over to a stone if you own one.
- How much do lymphatic drainage apps cost?
- Nodi is $8.99 per week or $59.99 per year with a 3 day free trial on the annual plan, as of August 2026. That is the entire price list. Elsewhere in the category, App Store listings in August 2026 showed Lymph at $6.99 monthly and $49.99 yearly, Lymfa at $9.99 to $12.99 monthly and $29.99 to $49.99 yearly, and Lymphi with rows at $6.99, $19.99 and $29.99 with no durations stated.
- Do I need an app, or is YouTube enough?
- YouTube is free and some of the teaching on it is very good, so if hunting for a video each morning is a pleasure rather than a chore, it is enough. For most people it is the high friction route. You choose every single time, the three minute routine arrives inside a fourteen minute video, and nothing brings you back tomorrow. An app buys the sequence, the pacing and the reminder, which is what turns this into something you keep.

Face massage app vs YouTube: is paying worth it?
YouTube is free and some of the best face massage teachers publish there. What it cannot give you is a decided sequence, pacing you can follow with oily hands, and a reminder that brings you back tomorrow. If you want the result rather than the research, the app is the better spend.

What is facial lymphatic drainage? A beginner's guide
Facial lymphatic drainage is a light, rhythmic massage that nudges fluid out of your face and toward the lymph nodes in your neck. It will not change your bone structure, but a few minutes most mornings can leave your face feeling lighter and looking less puffy.
